Previous FBI Head James Comey Submits Innocent Plea to Accusations of Lying Congress
Ex- FBI chief James the ex-FBI chief has entered an innocent plea to providing misleading information to congressional representatives and obstructing a congressional proceeding.
The former director's lawyer filed the plea acting as his counsel in a federal court in Alexandria, Virginia on Wednesday.
The defense lawyer stated he would attempt to have the case thrown out for several causes including that his client, a detractor of former President Trump, was being targeted.
The former director was formally accused soon after Trump pushed his top legal official to move forward against him.
